European Mobility Week COP30 Bike Ride crosses Portugal

The COP30 Bike Ride is a bicycle relay that symbolically started in Azerbaijan on May 14th, as COP29 was held there last year, and will arrive in Portugal on September 28th, on the way to COP30, which will be held in November in Belém do Pará, Brazil.

The goal of this citizens' initiative is to draw attention to the climate crisis and the very positive role that active mobility can play in mitigating it, as well as in improving quality of life in both cities and other environments.

Go to https://copbikeride.org/cop30and learn about the 10 proposals that are being signed by the municipalities in which it is taking place and that will be delivered at COP30. And register to follow us in one or more of the stages and moments that will take place in Portugal between September 28th and October 5th.

Here's what's planned for Portugal, with some additional events in the works. Throughout the entire journey, we'll be accompanied by a Maria Bike and a cargo bike from Unfuel, which will also have electric bicycles available at all stops to lend to some local guests who want to join us.
