5th BUSINESS IDEAS FORUM TOOK SÃO BRASIL ENTREPRENEURSHIP TO THE STAGE

Gastronomy, tourism, audiovisual production, human resources, digital marketing, decoration, carpentry, event spaces, coaching and training, and family support services were the areas represented by new São Brás entrepreneurs in the fifth edition of the Business Ideas Forum that the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel promoted on June 25th, at the São Brás Cineteatro Jaime Pinto.

São Bras' entrepreneurship was highlighted last Wednesday, June 25th, at the fifth edition of the Business Ideas Forum. This municipal initiative, held annually since 2021, aims to promote and support the creation of new business projects, as well as cultivate partnerships and synergies between companies, entrepreneurs, and municipal entities.

The success achieved in previous editions, contributing to the germination of many of the business ideas presented and the increase in partnerships between companies in the municipality, motivated the holding of this fifth edition of this event entirely dedicated to entrepreneurship.
"Giving wings to new projects is the spirit of this forum, in a land of entrepreneurs," emphasized the Vice President of the City Council, Marlene Guerreiro, at the opening session.
Highlighting the work carried out over the past 12 years through the Entrepreneur's Office, he stated: "Entrepreneurship is the seed of the future for all sectors of our municipality, which we must nurture through integrated and global intervention."
The vice-president emphasized that the Entrepreneur's Office is "a service designed for everyone who makes the local economy thrive," encompassing both established entrepreneurs and those just starting out. Currently, the municipality has approximately 639 companies, 25 of which launched this year. She believes this reflects the dynamism, resilience, and innovative spirit of the São Bras community.

The event was divided into two panels, in which several projects were presented: RecruitYard, a human resources recruitment company, by Rafaela Rafael; Maigonedia, a digital marketing project, by Maia; Fatia, a gastronomic concept, by Luiz Silva; Casa do Sapateiro, local accommodation, by João Simões; and RISE Produção Criativa, an audiovisual production company, by Filinto Francisco.
This was followed by presentations from the decoration company By Soares Home Deko, by Cilaine Soares; from the carpentry company Western Woodwork and Building Services, by Virgínia Gutierrez; from the gastronomic brand Sabores da Rita, by Ana Rita Clemente; from the children's party space Kids Ahoy, by Ricardo Dias; from the coaching, training and services company Andreia Gaspar, by the founder herself; and from Café Oribá, with its Lusophony concept, by Paulo Botelho.

Both panels were moderated by Aquiles Marreiros, executive member of the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, who took the opportunity to highlight the differentiating factors of each of the participating companies and present the main support and financing available to companies in the areas of technology, recruitment, expansion and job creation, among others.
On an afternoon dominated by the entrepreneurial spirit, the Mayor, Vítor Guerreiro, highlighted the practical and positive results achieved by the Forum: "This is a way to maximize the municipality's potential in terms of its business dynamics, promoting networks and collaboration among our entrepreneurs."

The Business Ideas Forum is an initiative of the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel, coordinated by the Entrepreneur's Office, and has the support of local companies and entrepreneurs.
The projects presented will be subject to a promotion and monitoring plan throughout the year, with a view to their consolidation and growth.
