The Cândido Guerreiro Auditorium at the Alte Professional School will host a moment of reflection on the parallel role of women in society today at 6:00 p.m.
"Being a woman... yesterday and today" is an activity taking place on October 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the Cândido Guerreiro Auditorium, Alte Vocational School, in Alte, as part of Municipal Equality Week. It is a small tribute to Albertina Madeira, a woman from Alte who, at 101 years old, continues to edit the newspaper "Ecos da Serra."
This will be a moment of reflection on the parallels between two distinct temporal realities and the role of women in society. Participants will include Albertina Madeira, journalist Fúlvia Almeida, and António Martins, president of the Alte Parish Council.
