From September 27th to October 25th, the Art Gallery of the Convent of the Holy Spirit, in Loulé, hosts the exhibition by Joana Dionísio, “Rhizomes”, curated by Jayne Dyer and Virgílio Ferreira.
Joana Dionísio materializes in “Rizomas” the intention of creating alternative ways to promote sustainability in the Geopark Algarvensis, addressing social activism as a tool for building collaborative and transformative community practices. The artist's focus is on the integrated geoconservation actions developed in the Geopark, which stem from the interdependence and potential synergies between people and territory, creating a resilient network focused on a sustainable future.
This exhibition is part of the circulation program of Bienal'25 Porto Photography, organized and produced by Ci.CLO Photography Platform.
The inauguration is scheduled for 6:00 pm on September 26th. It can be visited from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
