Faro City Council is preparing to replace the 16 metal halide projectors currently serving the Montenegro Football Field with 16 LED technology projectors.
The acquisition of this new equipment was awarded by the Municipality to the company Algarpower, Lda for a total value of €19,872.00 (plus VAT at the legal rate in force), with a delivery period of 90 days.
The municipality's investment will significantly improve lighting conditions at the sports facility, providing numerous benefits in terms of energy efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.
The Municipality of Faro is thus pursuing its more sustainable environmental policy, reducing electricity consumption and associated CO2 emissions, accumulating savings on energy costs. These investments are also based on the municipal strategy of promoting sports and equipping clubs and sports facilities with equipment that meets the competitive and training needs of the municipality's children and young people.
