The Festivities in Honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which took place between July 5th and 7th in Altura, welcomed thousands of people who attended the concerts and visited the Crafts Fair, which offered the best local and regional products.
The first day featured a live broadcast of the National Football Team's game, followed by a performance by young Filipe Rodrigues, on a day dedicated entirely to youth.
The night continued with a performance by Supa Squad, the headliners on the first day of the event, ending with the Algarve DJ duo Alpha Heroes.
July 6th was one of the most crowded days of these festivities ever, starting the night with the municipality's Popular Marches, the duo "Só Nós Dois" and the highlight with a great show by Carolina Deslandes.
After DJ Gustavo Vera closed Saturday, Sunday's festivities began in the afternoon with the Recitation of the Rosary and the Celebration of the Eucharist at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, from where the procession began and passed through several streets in the area.
In the evening, the stage hosted performances by the young accordionist Hugo Madeira, followed by a special show by ARUTLA celebrating their 25th anniversary and a concert by The Lucky Duckies.
