With the arrival of the long days, the Tours at the Algarvensis Geopark are back!
On June 27th, at 6 pm, it will be the time for the 2nd edition of the Jurassic Sea.
A guided walking tour, approximately 10km long, that will allow participants to discover what a 150-million-year-old sea has to tell us!
The tour begins at the Igreja da Boa Hora, near Parragil, passes very close to the Megalapiás da Varejota, visits 3 windmills, the Varejota one, the Soalheira one, with a privileged view of the sea and, the last one, the best preserved, near the finish line, in Picota.
The tour ends with a moonlit dinner, with Alte snacks, served on a very special “plateau”, like an amphitheater overlooking the sea, in the chapel of S. Faustino.
An organization of the Alte Professional School.
The return to the departure point will be ensured by the school bus.
The tour has a limit of 30 participants.
