More than a hundred athletes participated in the IV Castro Marim Parish Race/Athletics Event “Flor de Sal”, which took place on Sunday, July 7, between Junqueira and the municipal seat.
The initiative was divided into two routes, 6 and 10 kilometers long, starting from Junqueira or Castro Marim Golfe, with the finish line located at Praça 1.º de Maio, in front of the City Hall.
João Silva and Lauren Havey took first place in the 6-kilometer race, while João Fernandes and Ana Rosa Parreira won the 10-kilometer race.
The main objective of this event is to encourage interaction among its participants, as well as fun, entertainment and sportsmanship.
The IV Castro Marim Parish Race was organized by Leões do Sul Futebol Clube, in partnership with the Castro Marim Parish Council and the Municipality of Castro Marim.
