The Municipality of Loulé returns to Lisbon to participate, once again, in the largest tourism promotion event in Portugal, BTL – Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market, which takes place from March 12th to 16th, at FIL, in Parque das Nações.
Loulé will be represented on four fronts: at its own stand, in the Algarve space, at the stand dedicated to religious tourism, with the presence of the Cult of the Sovereign Mother, and at another where the 6 Portuguese geoparks with the UNESCO seal will be gathered, a group of which the future Algarvensis Geopark is preparing to be a part.
At the Loulé City Council stand, visitors will find informational materials about the municipality and some gifts, as well as guidance from municipal technicians. They can also participate in an immersive experience of the area using artificial intelligence.
During these days, some of the Municipality's events and projects will be presented, such as the 2025 editions of the MED Festival and Noite Branca, Café Calcinha as a café with history, the Protected Areas of the municipality of Loulé for nature lovers or a review of the 10 years of Loulé Criativo.
The Municipality will also offer the public some gastronomic experiences, with tastings of local products, and moments of entertainment.
BTL, which this year has a new name – Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market, will feature more than 1,500 exhibitors representing a wide variety of destinations, cultures, and services, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the latest trends in global tourism. 80,000 visitors are expected.
