Next Sunday, August 10th, starting at 10:00 am, Praia da Armona – Mar will be the stage for a morning full of entertainment with the Summer Games, an initiative that combines fun with environmental awareness. Under the motto "Plastic in the Sea... No Way!", the event aims to raise awareness about the problem of marine pollution, especially caused by plastic.
Aimed at children, young people, and families, this morning promises moments of joy, learning, and socializing, with a variety of fun activities by the sea. The initiative is organized as part of the Blue Flag program, with the support of ABAE – Blue Flag Association of Europe, the Municipality of Olhão, and the Parish Council.
With a clear and urgent message about preserving the oceans, the Summer Games They also aim to encourage good environmental practices, such as reducing the use of disposable plastic and respecting the coastal ecosystem.
