Last Friday, Loulé City Council signed a loan agreement with the National Republican Guard for the transfer of a house in Loulé, intended as the official residence of the Commander of the Loulé Territorial Detachment.
This unit, located in the city center, will house the person responsible for this Detachment, thus supporting displaced military personnel in a housing response that is also of great importance for improving the working conditions and well-being of those serving in the GNR.
This functional house is part of the Local Housing Strategy of the Municipality of Loulé, which provides housing solutions not only for those living in greater socioeconomic vulnerability (supported rent), but also for the middle class and displaced professionals such as doctors, nurses, teachers and members of the security forces (affordable rent).
After the signing of this contract, the delegation present presented a souvenir to the Mayor, Vítor Aleixo, in recognition of the close collaboration and continued support of the Municipality of Loulé for the safety and well-being of the community.
