São Brás de Alportel is preparing for a weekend filled with culture, art, and activities for all ages, promising moments of conviviality and discovery.
Node Municipal Market, the month of August is dedicated to the fig, with the program “Call it a Fig!”, which brings entertainment and initiatives linked to this emblematic fruit of the region.
On the day August 9th, to the 10:00 AM, the Arts and Crafts Center receives a Pottery Workshop, open to children and adults, offering a unique opportunity to learn and experience this traditional art.
The cultural agenda continues in Jaime Pinto Movie Theater, on the day August 10th, to the 5:00 p.m., with the show “I AM”, an artistic proposal that promises to move the public.
For lovers of visual arts, the offer is diverse:
- In the Exhibition Room, until September 1st, you can visit the mosaic and painting exhibition “Animals of Alportel”, of Jacqui Brinkhorst and Yvonne Rotgans.
- In the Exhibition Gallery from the Arts and Crafts Center, until August 30th, it is clear “Piece by Piece”, puzzle exhibition of Bruno Gomes.
- And throughout August, the Exhibition “Art with Stone”, of Olga Pires, invites you to contemplate unique creations that combine nature and creativity.
