New Year's Eve festivities in Olhão begin on the evening of December 27th and continue until January 2nd, 2025, at the Jardim Pescador Olhanense. The city's municipally organized entertainment is plentiful in Olhão during these days, hosting groups such as Entre Aspas and Lucky Duckies, among others.
The festivities marking the last days of the year begin with a concert by Rita Fox Band, starting at 9:00 pm on December 27th, followed by Ricky B at 10:00 pm and DJ Chic_o at 11:00 pm. The evening of December 28th opens with a concert by Entre Aspas at 9:00 pm, followed by the Bubba Brothers at 11:00 pm.
On Sunday night, December 29th, fado opens the festivities, with a performance by Sara Gonçalves at 9:00 pm, followed by Rafael Sousa at 10:00 pm and the 3AM concert at 11:00 pm. The night of the penultimate day of the year, December 30th, opens with a concert by 33LM at 9:00 pm, and The Lucky Duckies perform at 10:00 pm.
The night of the 31st, the last of the year, also begins at Jardim Pescador Olhanense, with a Ganda Banda concert until nearly midnight, when a fantastic fireworks display will illuminate the Ria Formosa. About 15 minutes later, the New Year's Eve celebrations continue to the sounds of Ganda Banda. The Municipality will once again offer the circus to the residents of Olhanense on January 1, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM.
