Actor-puppeteer Luís Manhita will perform two puppet shows at the Algarve Forum in Faro. One on Saturday the 13th and the other on Sunday the 14th..
On Saturday, April 13th, the show «Joaquim: A story of A(mar)», a wordless performance of his own creation, which tells the story of Joaquim. "Joaquim is a very curious and funny character who takes a journey through his memories, to realize that, after all, the world only makes sense if we put our hearts into the things we do," says the puppeteer.
On Sunday, the 14th, it will be time for the show «Eat an orange», created and directed by Rui Sousa, from Rui Sousa Puppets, tells the story of Friar Julião and Donkey Carrots, who embark on a journey to China and discover that sweet oranges also exist. A journey in search of oranges over 500 years old, which made Portugal and the Algarve famous worldwide.
During the days two sessions will be presented, at 11:30 am and to 4:30 p.m., to watch as a family.
