The Loulé Municipal Consumer Protection Service, in partnership with DECO – Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection, is reinforcing its support for consumers in the municipality and will, by the end of 2025, offer additional face-to-face services provided by a DECO lawyer, as well as two new information sessions.
In-person service takes place between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm, in Quarteira (7 October, 4 and 25 November) and Loulé (15 and 22 October, 11 and 19 November and 9 and 17 December).
Under the protocol signed between the Municipality of Loulé and DECO, in force since February 1, 2008, the Municipal Consumer Protection Service continues to assert itself as a space for support, information and mediation of consumer conflicts, available to all consumers in the municipality of Loulé.
With the mission of promoting citizenship through consumer education, this Service focuses on informing and raising awareness among consumers regarding their rights and duties, as well as mediating complaints, contributing to the swift and effective resolution of conflicts.
Its objectives include organizing information sessions for the school community, senior citizens and other community groups, developing responses to consumer requests for information and mediating consumer conflicts, promoting fair and balanced solutions.
This increased support for consumers responds to the current challenges consumers face.
