European Maritime Day events in my country aim to raise awareness of the importance of the oceans and seas and engage the public, especially young people. The goal is to raise awareness that maritime activities (coastal tourism, fishing, sailing, navigation, offshore renewable energy, aquaculture, etc.) are fundamental to EU citizens and economies.
This day is a unique opportunity for the general public to learn about IPMA, with the aim of encouraging children, young people and adults to participate in shared activities.
Participation is free, but registration is required.
