Ten years after beginning the review, Faro City Council unanimously approved, on Monday, June 24, the final proposal for reviewing the Municipal Master Plan, with the changes already introduced during the public debate.
During this period, which ran from October 23 to December 5, 2023, the Municipality of Faro received 122 submissions, and the respective weighting report is available on the Municipality's website.

The new PDM, which replaces the previous one from 1995, is the result of a demanding and complex review procedure and will only come into force after approval by the Municipal Assembly and subsequent publication in the Official Gazette.
