The Quarteira Parish Council is once again joining the Pink October campaign, an initiative that aims to raise awareness of the prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer.
Throughout the month of October, the following are available for purchase at the Parish Council: official solidarity campaign articles — the t-shirt, worth 5 euros, and the pin, worth 2 euros.
The amounts raised will be donated to entirely in favor of the Portuguese League Against Cancer, contributing directly to the support of cancer patients, research and awareness-raising activities promoted by this institution.
With this simple gesture, the community of Quarteira is invited to dress in pink and the actively participate in this solidarity cause, reinforcing the importance of prevention and mutual support.
