The most anticipated time of the year, summer, is once again lively in Altura during the months of July, August and September with around two dozen shows and the traditional markets in the Leisure Zone on Avenida 24 de Junho.
The first concert is scheduled for Wednesday night, July 10th, with Acordeanima. Also taking the stage this month are DJ Nuno Silva, Rancho Folclórico do Azinhal, Charanga los del Ruedo, José Manuel, Tatiana Pinto, Sérgio Conceição, and ARUTLA.
In August, the Folklore Festival will take place with the Amendoeiras em Flor Cultural Association on the 3rd, followed by the show Passion Flamenca, Noites Latinas, Duo Reflexo, DJ Nuno Silva, Rafael Sousa, Hugo Madeira and Cookie Monsters.
The month of August will end in style with a special show celebrating the 25th anniversary of the dance group ARUTLA, which promises to surprise those present.
To close the summer entertainment in Altura, on September 4th there will be a dance with Ângelo Correia.
Altura's traditional markets are also back from Friday, July 12th, daily between 7:00 pm and midnight, with the best local products and delicacies such as honey, nuts, salt, fleur de sel, sweets, crafts and vegetables.
