Students and teachers from the Cândido Guerreiro Professional School – Alte, traveled to Valencia

Students and teachers from the Cândido Guerreiro Vocational School – Alte, traveled to Valencia, as part of the Erasmus+ Project, “Environmental Evaluation Project Method for Secondary School – VIRAL”

Within the scope of the VIRAL – Erasmus+ project, the second mobility took place, this time in La Vall d`Uixó, which belongs to the Valencian Community – Spain, between the 24th and 26th of September at the “Best Practices Event”, in which 40 students and eight teachers representing the three educational institutions partnering with the project participated: Stichting Onderwijs Midden Limburg (SOML), from the Netherlands, the Instituto De Educación Secundaria Botànic Cavanilles – Valencian Community – LaVall d'Uixó, in Spain, and the Escola Profissional Cândido Guerreiro – Alte, also participating three entities: Dialòguia, Low Carbon Economy and the Valencian Climate Assembly.

Over the three days, at the Cavanilles Botanical Secondary Education Institute in Lavall d'Uixó, students presented the results of their projects, focusing on monitoring, presenting results and impacts on their communities, and discussed plans for the future.

Over the three days, students also had the opportunity to learn about and explore some environmentally conscious projects, including Solar Park, the Caves of Josep, the eco-friendly Mar de Fulles Hotel, and the Via Verde route in Benicassim.
