The Municipality of São Brás de Alportel approved, at a Council meeting on August 12, the beginning of a procedure for the allocation of 180 new beds in isolated hotel establishments in rural areas, under the current Municipal Master Plan.
This is a measure integrated into the tourism development strategy of the territory, which is full of potential.
The goal is to attract new high-quality tourism establishments, specifically hotels with a 3-star rating or higher, associated with areas such as health, nature, sports, and cultural tourism. The new beds will be distributed throughout the Serra and Barrocal regions.
This strategic measure aims to boost the local economy, generate jobs, enhance the region, and reinforce São Brás de Alportel as a sustainable tourist destination.
More information about the procedure, which is active until September 26, can be found in the Notices tab on the Municipality's official website [https://www.cm-sbras.pt/pt/148/editais.aspx].
